National PIN:   Reminder – Mike Briley, our Advanced Practice Legislative Representative on the Advanced Practice Council recommends applying PERSONALLY for the National Provider #.  Call 800-465-3203 for information or go to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services online.

National Nurse Act:  gaining more momentum.  Encourage your representatives to co-sponsor.

Department of Health Survey:  Call 615-741-5226 to ask for a survey if you have not received one.  It is very important that we make Nurse Practitioners known as providers, especially of rural health care.  The Department of Health states that they have very little date regarding NPs, so lets change that!!!
