·        Nurse Researchers: four doctorally-prepared Nurse Researchers for Department of Nursing

Third Practitioner is needed to keep up with patient work load and quality of care.

Facility Description:

Well Organized, well established, pure Internal Medicine practice of 25 years. Practice philosophy is high quality, high service profile, safety oriented, compassionate care with clear communications. Several ancillary services like Laboratory, X-rays, bone density of hip and spine, 24 hour Holter Monitoring, Blood pressure monitoring, Over night Oxygen saturation study, PFT, Automated Nerve conduction studies, EKG, Vascular Screening all available on premises. Ultrasound, vascular and ECHO services come from outside once a week. All the above services add to service profile, quality of care as well as revenue. We used support staff to free up time for Practitioners to do what they should be doing. Our support staff is very well trained and training continues in staff meetings held every two weeks. We enjoy very good rapport with patients as we get to know them from long term and frequent contacts.

Salary:

Base salary from 65,000 to 85,000 per year based on experience. Incentive bonus arrangement is in addition

Company Benefits:

Three weeks paid vacation, legal holidays, health and profession liability insurance, 401-K retirement plan, CME. If you are able to see 3 patients per hour and you are detail oriented, earnings of above 100,000 per year are highly probable.

Position Comments:

You may see patients independently or in collaboration with the doctor. The physician is available for consult at all times. Physician is in office 90% of the time. We have many systems in place enhancing organization of the practice. You need to see on the average 2 1/2 patients per hour with attention to various details and need of the patient.
