Covenant Health is located in Knoxville , TN , and includes acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, specialized care in areas such as cancer, rehabilitation and behavioral health, and more.

This position is responsible for:

• Completing pre-employment assessments, chart audits, blood pressure checks, immunizations/titers, flu clinics, for cause/follow-up drug screens, return-to-work evaluations and TB surveillance/respiratory fit testing
• Assisting in ensuring hospital meets OSHA mandates/CDC standards with respect to health care workers
• Following protocols for care of employee blood and body fluid exposures, TB exposures and other communicable disease exposures.
• Employee acute care sick visits

The team of clinicians includes a registered dietitian and exericse physioloigst and the full time nurse practitioner. This position serves as team leader to develop individualized plan of care for patients.

Requirements:

• Active TN Nurse Practitioner license
• Prescription privileges
• DEA preferred but not required

Schedule:

7am-4pm;  Monday-Friday, rarely needed on occasional basis for special projects such as after-hours yearly flu-shot clinics. etc. No major holidays.
